AIMS
Thai - Hong Kong Trade Association aims to provide a point of exchange and coordination effort to improve business and opportunity among those engaged in trade, industry, investment, finance, and other business activities in general between Thai and Hong Kong.
The main objectives of the Association should be seen in this context and are as follows:
- To foster effective business and social relation
- To offer essential business services
- To offer relevance local information and experience necessary for successful conduct of business
- To liaise with the Government of Thailand in order to the benefit of the government and all parties concerned

In additional to serving as a point of contact and exchange for THTA Members, THTA serves as a valuable resource of information and interaction for members.
* Networking Opportunities
THTA works closely with other committees/associations to built and strengthen up communication with the key officials, and also organized regular meeting, business mission, and other activities such as seminars, luncheons, and social functions.
In additional to Thai ? Hong Kong Trade Association is a member of the 25 Foreign Chamber of Commerce and Trade Associations President sits on the Board of Trade?s Meeting.
* Publicities / Sponsorship
On the commercial side, THTA Members able to paid advertising on THTA Directory or THTA website, include sponsorship on preparation of an appropriate article, company profile, press release, etc for site visit.

The association is updated information time to time and strive to keep the membership inform. Thus, THTA Members can obtain regularly updated information as follow:

The association provides the forum for interested member to discuss the Thai and Hong Kong economic. Member and Non-member can 24 hours a day site for the information, except the information about membership will keep in privacy, only member can access that information.
- Handbook / Directory
This compendium includes comprehensive information on Thailand, including economic trends, investment steps, and business laws, taxation, and investment incentives, as well three indexes: company name, representative name, and business classification. This compendium will not giving or sold to non-member.
- THTA Staff
THTA staff can undertake basic research in response member enquiries such as sourcing lists of contacts, government regulation, seeking advice from THTA committees.

Thus, the association arranges a group activity in order to provide businessperson in the same field and opportunity to meet and exchange views and promote business activities to market demand both locally and internationally.

- TEXTUKES AND MANUFACTURING
Monitors trends and developments in manufacturing techniques and serves as a forum for factory managers to discuss mutual concerns and interests.
- TRAVEL AND TOURISM
Monitors travel tourism and airport sectors and reports on relevance issues to members. The association maintains liaison with the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Hong Kong Tourism Association, airline, hotels, and other affiliated organizations. It is also assess potential opportunities for business development in the emerging markets of Southeast Asia.
- PROPERTY
Provides members with a forum to discuss topics on the property market.
- BANKING AND FINANCE
Monitors trends and developments in the banking and finance industry and provides a forum to meet with the professional in the banking and finance sectors.
- SHIPPING AND CONTAINER TRANSPORTATION
Provides members with a forum to discuss a topic relevance to shipping and container transportation services, such as the import and export of goods to / from Thai ports, facilities at port container terminals and inland deport and customs clearance requirement etc.
Other sub-committees may be formed in the future. Members of Thai ? Hong Kong Trade Association are from a variety of businesses including banking, finance, trading, real estate, property development, manufacturing, transportation, legal consultant, import / export, and tourism.
